What does cPanel or DirectAdmin optional mean on VPS plans? +
VPS and Dedicated servers ship bare by default — just the OS. After purchase you can add cPanel or DirectAdmin from your client area. Both are included in your plan cost at no extra charge. Softaculous installs automatically once a control panel is added.
How does the free domain work? +
Pro and Business plans include one free domain registration for year 1. Applies to most TLDs including .com, .net, .org. Renewal pricing is shown upfront. The domain is yours to keep even if you leave CIMHost.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan? +
Yes, at any time. Upgrades are prorated — you only pay the difference. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. No penalties.
What is the 45-day money-back guarantee? +
If you are not satisfied for any reason within 45 days of your first payment, contact billing@cimhost.com and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked. Domain registrations are non-refundable as they are registered immediately.
